Part-Time Nanny Wimbledon, South West London
A warm and intentional family based in Wimbledon, South West London are looking for a kind, hands-on and reliable childcare professional to support them with their two young children. The role is part-time with flexibility for occasional babysitting and weekend help.
Start date: Ideally 22nd April, but the family are happy to wait for the right person.
About the family
The family have two lovely children aged 5 years and 1 year.
The eldest is an active, creative and sensitive little boy who loves Lego, superheroes and crafts. He has cystic fibrosis, so the family are looking for someone confident, capable and willing to learn about his condition. Full guidance will be given, and he attends school during the day.
The youngest is a happy, chilled baby who is currently crawling and exploring the world, a busy little boy who enjoys play and interaction.
The family also have a friendly Cocker Spaniel, so the nanny must be comfortable around dogs.
The parents are thoughtful and intentional in their parenting style, with a strong focus on kindness, equality, and respectful communication, and they would love to find someone who shares similar values.
The role
Part-time childcare support
Flexible hours with occasional babysitting and weekend help
Some school or nursery runs may be required, but driving is not essential
Hands-on care for both children
Planning fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities
Supporting the eldest with his medical routine
Requirements
Ideally qualified in Early Years / Childcare, or a minimum of 5 years’ childcare experience
Experience with babies and school-age children
DBS check (or willing to obtain)
Paediatric First Aid
Confident, proactive and caring nature
Comfortable learning about cystic fibrosis and following guidance
Reliable, organised and hands-on
Warm, fun and genuinely enjoys working with children
