Our Process

Speak to us

We begin with a personal consultation to understand your family, your routine and the type of childcare you need. You’ll complete a short registration form so we can begin the matching process.

We start the match

Using our experience and careful screening process, we select suitable childcare professionals from our network. Every candidate is chosen based on their experience, personality and fit for your family.

Interview and Trials

We arrange interviews at a time that works for you. This gives you the chance to meet the childcare professional, ask questions and make sure the match feels right before moving forward.

Secure the placement

Once you’ve chosen the right person, we help confirm the placement and make sure everything is in place for a smooth start. We stay available for support whenever you need us.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A nanny usually provides regular, ongoing childcare and may work full-time or part-time with the same family. Nannies are often responsible for day-to-day routines, school runs, activities and general care. A babysitter is normally booked for occasional or short-term childcare, such as evenings, weekends or one-off support. Babysitters may not work with the same family every week, but still provide safe and reliable care.

  • Sproggle offers a personal, thoughtful approach to childcare matching. Founded by a Norland-qualified childcare professional, we understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust.
We take time to get to know every family and every childcare professional, so placements feel natural, safe and well suited - not rushed or impersonal. We are able to offer a friendly, supportive service that puts quality and care first.

  • If you employ a nanny to work regular hours in your home, you may be considered their employer. This means you could be responsible for things like paying wages, arranging tax and National Insurance, providing a contract, and making sure the working conditions are safe and fair.

We can guide you through what is required and explain the process, so you feel confident about your responsibilities. Many families choose to use a payroll service to make this simple, and we are happy to point you in the right direction if needed.

  • Using an agency means you have support throughout the process. We help with finding vetted candidates, arranging interviews and making sure the placement runs smoothly. Our goal is to make finding childcare feel safe, simple and stress-free.

  • We help families find babysitters, full-time and part-time nannies, temporary childcare, after-school help and specialist care. Every family is different, so we match each placement individually.

  • We take time to get to know every candidate before introducing them to families. We check experience, references and suitability, and we only put forward childcare professionals we believe will provide safe, reliable and caring support.
