Live-in Nanny / Housekeeper - Iceland

A warm and welcoming international family based in Iceland is seeking an energetic, organised and positive Nanny / Family Assistant to join their household on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys becoming part of a family team and is happy to take a flexible, hands-on approach to their role. The parents are very involved in their children’s lives, so this is not a traditional sole-charge nanny position. Instead, the family is looking for a proactive all-rounder who genuinely enjoys spending time with children while also helping to keep a busy family home organised and running smoothly.

The family has two active young boys, who attend school and pre-school during the day. They are looking for someone warm, enthusiastic and dependable who will bring positive energy to the household and build a strong, trusting relationship with the children.

Salary: £60,000–£80,000 gross per annum

We are looking for a warm, energetic and highly organised Nanny / Housekeeper to join a lovely international family based in Iceland on a long-term basis.

The family has two active young boys who attend school and pre-school. The parents are very hands-on, so this is not a traditional sole-charge nanny role. They are looking for a proactive all-rounder who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and is equally happy helping to keep family life organised and running smoothly.

The role will include:

• Supporting the children’s daily routines

• Preparing breakfast and meals

• School and pre-school collections when required

• Planning engaging indoor and outdoor activities

• Supporting homework and development

• Organising playdates and activities

• Family laundry and changing bed linen

• Grocery shopping and household errands

• Meal preparation

• Keeping the home tidy and organised between cleaner visits

• Travelling with the family throughout Europe and internationally

Professional cleaners are employed, so deep cleaning is not required.

Working Schedule:

• 5 days per week, including some weekends

• Approximately 7am–7pm with a 1–2 hour daily break

• 2 consecutive days off during the week

• Live-in accommodation provided

• Regular European and international travel

The ideal candidate will be warm, positive, flexible and proactive, with professional nanny and/or private household experience. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role combining childcare, household support and travel.

Salary: £60,000–£80,000 gross per annum, depending on experience and visa sponsorship requirements.
