About the Family
This is a warm, busy family of five based in Kensal Rise, London, W10. Father works full-time in finance, out of the house from early until late. Mother is self-employed and works part-time from home, and is very present with the children. The family have three young daughters. Parking is available for a childcare professional.
The Children
• Eldest daughter, 6. Loves arts and crafts, very well-mannered and caring, and enjoys her role as big sister.
• Middle daughter, 4. Enjoys colouring and crafts. Shy, with selective mutism - takes time to build trust, but is happy and calm once a connection is made.
• Youngest daughter, 1. Due to start nursery in April 2027. Adores her older sisters.
The Role
This is a full-time, live-in role of 35 hours per week. Mother works from home part-time and needs an extra pair of hands to help share the load of running the household and keeping the children happy. The role centres on the morning routine, roughly 7am to 11am, helping get all three girls washed, dressed and ready for school, tidying away breakfast and starting laundry, then caring for the youngest for around an hour while Mother works nearby or is out of the house. Depending on the day, the afternoon may involve free time over lunch until mid-afternoon, or further housework, before school pickups and after-school clubs from 3.15pm. The family value a carer who makes sure the children feel heard while respecting the boundaries the parents set.
