Temporary Live-in Nanny |Iceland & Copenhagen
8 Week Role | Start 30 June
A warm and well-travelled family is seeking an experienced, capable and engaging nanny to join them for an 8-week temporary position, starting 30 June. This is a unique live-in opportunity, primarily based in Iceland with some travel to Copenhagen. The successful candidate will become an important part of the family's daily life, supporting two active young boys and working closely alongside hands-on parents. We are looking for a nanny who is patient, optimistic, intelligent and adaptable. Someone who enjoys teaching children, encouraging curiosity and helping them engage with the world around them.
The Role
• Providing attentive and engaging care for two young boys
• Supporting emotional, social and language development
• Planning creative, educational and enriching activities
• Encouraging curiosity about nature, different cultures and the wider world
• Cycling children safely using a cargo bike
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Assisting with light household duties related to the children
• Running occasional errands
• Working collaboratively with the parents as part of a supportive family team
• Travelling with the family when required

Essential Requirements
• Minimum 5 year’s professional childcare experience
• High level of spoken and written English
• Comfortable working long days when required
• Physically fit and active
• Confident cycling children in a cargo bike
• Willing and able to travel internationally with the family
• EU passport holder (non-Chinese passport required for family travel arrangements)
• Non-smoker
• Discreet, reliable and highly professional
• Strong emotional intelligence and understanding of child development
• Independent, proactive and solution-focused
• Comfortable supporting light household duties and meal preparation
Desirable Qualifications
• Mandarin language skills
• Scandinavian language skills (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Icelandic)
• Full driving licence
• Teaching or educational background
• Interest in mindfulness and children's wellbeing
• A naturally curious outlook and passion for lifelong learning
