Part-Time Morning Nanny / Housekeeper – Ifold, West Sussex

A wonderfully warm and easy-going family based in Ifold near Loxwood are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and supportive part-time Nanny/Housekeeper to assist with their busy weekday mornings from September onwards.

The family have two fabulous daughters aged 6 and 8, who are wonderfully behaved, great fun and enjoy a happy, structured routine. This is a lovely permanent role with a welcoming family and would suit someone local looking for consistent morning hours during term time.

HOURS

Monday to Friday – Term Time Only

•     Start time: 7:00am

•     Minimum hours: 7:00am – 8:15am

•     Flexible finish time depending on availability and desired duties

•     Approximately 6–10 hours per week

There is the option for additional housekeeping hours for the right person.

DUTIES

Morning childcare support:

•     Helping the children prepare for school

•     Breakfast preparation

•     Ensuring school bags and uniforms are organised

•     School drop-off (approximately 12-minute drive)

Optional household support:

Following school drop-off, there is the option to return to the family home to assist with:

•     Laundry and changing beds

•     General tidying and light housekeeping

•     Cleaning and ironing

•     Evening meal preparation

•     Letting the family’s friendly Labrador out

•     Optional dog walking if desired

Tasks can be structured throughout the week depending on the successful candidate’s availability and preferences.

ABOUT THE FAMILY

Mum works full-time as a teacher and is typically out of the house from 7am–6pm. Dad is an airline pilot, with his monthly schedule known well in advance.

The family are looking for someone dependable and proactive who can provide consistency and calm during the children’s morning routine.

During private school holidays, school runs will not be required, although optional housekeeping hours may still be available.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

•     Warm, organised and proactive

•     Reliable and punctual

•     Comfortable managing a morning routine independently

•     Previous nannying and/or housekeeping experience

•     Full clean driving licence and own car with business insurance (essential)

•     Enhanced DBS

•     Paediatric First Aid

•     Childcare qualifications desirable

•     Pay: From £15+ net per hour, negotiable for the right person
