Full-time nanny position, Wandsworth, London

About the Family 

A warm and busy family based in Wandsworth, SW17 are looking for a long-term nanny to become a  trusted member of their family. Both parents are lawyers working full-time. They are looking for someone warm, honest and proactive, someone who can keep up with a lively toddler and genuinely become part of family life. A new baby is due in late September, but the primary focus of this role is the care of their daughter, Eva. 

The Child 

• Girl - born 28th February 2024 (2 years old). Attends Mouse House nursery in SW18 part-time. 

• Bubbly, smart and curious - equally happy reading a book or playing in a mud kitchen. Loves 

animals, drawing and playing outside. 

• FPIES allergy to courgette and chicken - carers must be fully aware and vigilant. 

• No screens policy. All food to be cooked from scratch. 

The Role 

This is a full-time, long-term nanny position covering 45 hours per week across Monday to Friday. The 

family are looking for someone who is proactive in planning activities, warm in their approach and who 

will embrace their no-screens, home-cooked food values. 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities 

• Primary sole charge care of child, with eventual support for the new baby from late September 

• Planning and leading engaging, age-appropriate activities - outdoors, creative, sensory and 

educational 

• Preparing all meals and snacks from scratch, managing child’s FPIES allergy (courgette and 

chicken) 

• Nursery duties - caring for Eva's room, playroom, washing and general tidying related to the 

children 

• No household duties expected for the parents 

 What They’re Looking For 

Essential 

• Minimum 1–2 years experience (3–5 years or 5+ preferred) 

• Paediatric First Aid certificate (in date) 

• Enhanced DBS / Police Check 

• Early Years Qualification 

• Fluent English speaker 

• Warm, bubbly and proactive personality 

• Commitment to a long-term placement - the family want someone who feels like part of the family 

• Comfortable with a no-screens approach and cooking all food from scratch 

• Confident managing an FPIES allergy (courgette and chicken) 

Desirable 

• Italian language skills (not essential)
