Full Time Nanny - Bermuda

Start date: January 2027
A warm, welcoming family relocating within Bermuda is seeking an experienced, professional and nurturing nanny to care for their two school-aged children, with a new baby expected in early 2027. The family follows a conscious and respectful parenting approach and is looking for someone who shares these values and who genuinely loves building strong, trusting relationships with children.

Child one  ·  7 years old

Bright, creative and full of energy

A wonderfully imaginative and affectionate girl who loves gymnastics, swimming, music, singing, drama and arts and crafts. She is passionate and expressive with an enormous personality. She has ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia and anxiety, and takes medication for ADHD. The family would particularly value a nanny with experience supporting neurodivergent children and a warm, positive understanding of learning differences.

Child two  ·  5 years old

Kind, curious and wonderfully calm

Role

40-50 hours a week. Competitive salary.

A thoughtful and inquisitive boy who loves football, dinosaurs, vehicles, maths and cooking. He is a keen learner who loves asking questions, helping around the home and reading independently. He has a calm and sensitive nature, balanced with plenty of energy when playing with his sister.

The family is looking for a nanny who can provide consistent, nurturing support across the day. The schedule is likely to follow a split shift pattern, covering before and after school with daytime baby care, though some days may be longer depending on the family's work commitments.

 • Morning routines and school drop-offs

• Baby care during school hours

• School collections and activity transport

• Homework support and educational encouragement

• Supporting evening routines

• Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities

• Encouraging confidence and emotional wellbeing

• Upholding the family's conscious parenting approach

Occasional babysitting may be available and would be paid separately, in addition to contracted hours.

The family has a weekly cleaner, so heavy housekeeping is not required. The nanny will assist with child-related tasks to help the household run smoothly.

• Children's meal preparation and cooking

• Children's laundry where required

• Organising children's bedrooms and play areas

• Tidying after activities and meals

Ideal Candidate

 •       Warm, playful, patient and kind, genuinely passionate about working with children

•       Experienced with children of similar ages, including newborns

•       Knowledgeable and positive about neurodiversity and learning differences

•       Highly organised, proactive and confident managing routines independently

•       A strong communicator with excellent, verifiable references

•       Flexible, adaptable and calm under pressure

•       A confident driver. A Bermuda driving licence will be required upon arrival

•       A second language (particularly German or French) would be a wonderful bonus
