Full-Time Live-Out Nanny | Fulham

This is a lovely opportunity with a warm family based in London SW6. The family has two children a small, wonderful dog, and grandparents nearby who enjoy seeing the children. The family also spends alternate weekends at a second home in Hampshire, so some weeks offer lighter flexible hours, though full care is needed during holidays, including time in Hampshire, where the nanny would have their own annex off the playroom with a private bedroom and bathroom.

10 hours a day –  possibly early finish on Fridays, longer hours in holidays.

The Children

•      A girl, age 4 - in her last year of nursery, moving to Reception in September 2027. Attends ballet, swimming and tennis lessons weekly, with occasional horse riding. Lively, funny, energetic and sparky, and very loving.

•      A boy, age 2 - very active and lively with fun energy. Loves running and being outdoors.

The Role

The family are looking for a full-time, live-out Nanny to take over from their current long-standing nanny. They would like someone who can drive, who can keep up with two busy, energetic children with warmth and fun, while maintaining firm, loving boundaries. The ideal candidate is tidy, takes initiative, and brings a great sense of humour alongside genuine care.

 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

•      Full-time care for both children, including nursery and activity routines

•      Driving the children to and from nursery, activities and appointments

•      Light cooking for the children

•      Ironing and washing for the children

•      Tidying the children's rooms and toys

•      Preparing sports kit and items needed for activities

•      Providing full care during school holidays, including time at the family's second home in Hampshire

•      Accompanying the family on pre-agreed holidays abroad (previous examples: South of France, Corfu)

•      Maintaining a fun, upbeat and energetic approach, with firm boundaries and plenty of love

What They're Looking For

Essential

•      Experienced Nanny (3-5 years or 5+ years' experience)

•      Full, clean driving licence

•      Warm, caring and fun, with a great sense of humour

•      Firm boundaries alongside a flexible, loving approach

•      Tidy, organised and takes initiative

•      Willing and able to travel abroad with the family for pre-agreed holidays

Desirable

•      Aged approximately 25-38

•      Comfortable with dogs

•      Energetic enough to keep up with two lively young children
